Regina Palace Hotel boasts a fantastic location; just a few minutes walk from the charming town of Stresa - buzzing with cafes, restaurants and boutiques - and just steps from the lake-side promenade. The boat jetty for trips across to the Borromeo Islands is just a few minutes walk, as is the train station. First impressions of the hotel are that of the grand opulent exterior and manicured gardens, and this theme continues as you step in to the magnificent lobby. The vast space is filled with glittering chandeliers, period furniture and a grand feature staircase.

The 224 rooms are decorated in period style with rich colour schemes, sumptuous fabrics and antique polished wood furniture. All are en-suite and many have a small balcony with views across the Borromean Islands or landscaped gardens. Guests can expect to find wifi connection, minibars, AC and safes across all rooms and suites. We would recommend booking a room away from the lower floors to avoid noise disruption from the lobby and common areas, which are often a hive of activity!

There are a number of great facilities guests can enjoy at the hotel; an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, gym, spa and tennis courts. Breakfast is generous with various options on offer, and there are two restaurant options for lunch and dinner - kosher, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options are available. We recommend an aperitif in the hotel’s bar - Bar 1900 - before exploring some of Stresa’s great little trattorias!
