This 17th-Century building offers guests a traditional stay at what we could consider to be an upmarket B&B, with a classic décor and lovely home-cooked breakfast. Tucked away down a pedestrian only side street, we particularly like this property for couples who want to explore the town.

Monopoli is a picturesque town on the Adriatic Sea, in southern Italy’s Apulia region. It is most famously known for the Baroque Monopoli Cathedral, featuring majestic tall bell tower. You can explore by foot the port, beach and historic centre.

Palazzo Bregante is situated just 350 yards from Monopoli's harbour and Cala Porta Vecchia Beach. Monopoli Train Station is only 15 minutes' walk away and Alberobello can be reached within a 40-minute drive. Just 20-minutes north of this small seaside town is insta-worthy town of Polignano a Mare. In terms of getting here, Bari airport airport is only 30km away (circa 45 minutes drive), making it easily accessible from the UK. There is also a train which run from Bari to Monopoli. This makes it a super convenient base from which to explore some of the prettiest parts of Puglia.

We can arrange a number of activities from this hotel, including the wonderful boat trips to explore the coastline from a different perspective.
