A restored 16th-century farmhouse in the Fasano region of Puglia, this was formerly a working farm, and a large one at that! It is now a family-friendly masseria with extensive grounds, activities aplenty and two lovely beach clubs. Not to mention their farm-to-form dining set-up and funky bar.

This is a wonderful alternative to an impersonal resort, as here the focus is on the individual, sustainability and unique experiences. All the while set within beautiful gardens, with stylish interiors and comfortable furnishings. We like to think of this property as our Puglian home-away-from-home.

Situated between Fasano and the coast, this hotel offers the best of both worlds. You can cycle to the beach in just 15-minutes and enjoy the hotel’s two beach clubs, or get a transfer if you’re feeling too relaxed for two wheels. Or, head out to the white-washed town of Ostuni, with it’s amazing architecture, famous Baroque churches and wonderful little bars and restaurants.

The hotel’s 36 characterful rooms are scattered around the grounds, which also have many chill out area, pretty patios, terraces and courtyards. The hotel also has a lovely spa and big outdoor swimming pool. Rooms are bright and breezy with a shabby chic finish. We love how each room feels very different and features unique antique furniture! We love the distressed wood look which run throughout the property too.

Whilst you’re in a great location for exploring, this resort is set up so that you don’t need to go anywhere. With many eating and drinking options on site, and plenty of fun activities including cooking classes, yoga, horse-riding and wine-tasting. Guests can also enjoy the nearby nine-hole Coccaro Golf Club. Alternatively, it’s simply bliss to chill-out by the pool with the tasty bar snacks and a cocktail in hand!

Food is a big part of the Coccaro experience! Breakfast can be enjoyed poolside during the warmer months, and dinner is best enjoyed in the lovely courtyard. The menu features seasonal Pugliese cuisine, much of which has been grown on the farm.

We especially love this hotel for families, as we think it offers a really unique and authentic Italian experience, far superior to your likes of Club Med! In the summer, the hotel hosts a number of special nights, including pizza lessons, magic shows for children, jazz, movie nights, bbqs and village feasts! This is really something cool to experience.
