Masseria Montenapoleone, carefully restored by the Monteneve – Van Gaubergen family, was brought back to life with every effort made to respect the building’s history, the surrounding nature and the traditional way of life in rural Puglia. Guests can enjoy the most beautiful and peaceful of settings, immersed in nature, but with all the modern comforts and amenities of a luxury property. Think hand-made furniture, pretty terraces, sprawling outdoor spaces covered in blooming bougainvillea and charming bedrooms, all unique in size and character.

The rooms and suites are spread across the whole property, all are different from one another with a story behind each space. Some rooms used to be the old stables, whilst the Romantic Suite is nestled within an old cave dwelling. Some rooms have a private balcony or terrace with views over the surrounding olive groves or to the sea, whilst some open out on to colourful internal gardens and patios. The rooms vary in size and can accommodate from 2 people up to 6 - depending on individual requirements - and are finished with the same rustic-chic decoration, featuring unique decorative pieces and artwork. All are ensuite and include wifi connection.

Dining at Masseria Montenapoleone is very much a highlight of the stay, with a huge emphasis placed on using seasonal, local produce and of course their own organically grown ingredients such as olive oil from their groves and fresh fruit and vegetables. Almonds from their own almond grove feature in many of their traditional desserts and guests can enjoy wine from their own vineyards. Of course, given the surroundings and abundance of natural produce and beautiful dining and cooking spaces available, guests can enjoy hands on cooking classes and tastings with the family and dine on the fruits of their labour in the prettiest of settings - both indoor and out.

A large beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers, is the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon in the sun, whilst the surrounding land is great for roaming around by foot or by bike. Take a cycle down to the nearby beach or for a day trip, explore one of the near by towns to get a taste of Puglia local life.
