Il Fienile is a delightful barn conversion that is located adjacent to Casa Marrucina and set in terraced grounds in the heart of Abruzzo. The property has been restored, renovated and refurbished to a very high standard whilst retaining plenty of rustic charm. Sweeping views across the surrounding countryside, mountains and olive groves provides provides the most romantic of settings whilst the close proximity of the coast is perfect for beach lovers!

In total the barn sleeps 6 guests and is perfect for a family or small group of friends. The property has 3 bedrooms and a shower room. The master bedroom is located under the eaves on a mezzanine level and features a copper bath tub and ‘Romeo and Juliet’ balcony overlooking the landscape. The beautifully furnished living space comprises an airy double height sitting room with exposed stone walls, timber beams, large log burning stove and fully fitted kitchen and dining area. There is also a galleried library on the mezzanine floor.

Outside the barn guests will find beautiful gardens full of fruit trees, vines and pines. A large swimming pool offers a relaxing place to cool off from the warm summer temperatures and various outdoor seating areas are the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Al fresco dining can be enjoyed with views across the mountains and Adriatic sea.
