Corte San Ruffillo is a wonderful place to stay and experience the peaceful northern Italian countryside and sleepy rural life. Nestled within the green hills of Romagna and surrounded by acres of organic farmland, the eighteenth-century complex, which includes the existing guesthouse and restaurant, is rustic, charming and comfortable with a wonderfully cosy and welcoming atmosphere. You could easily spend your time here enjoying the farmhouse, grounds and exploring the immediate area, but the property is also a great base for exploring nearby Forlimpopoli, the Emilia-Romagna coast and even the historical city of Bologna.

The traditional farmhouse has 14 lovely rooms, varying in size and split across four categories from the more simple Classic Rooms to the most spacious Special Rooms. Pretty pastel colour schemes, exposed brick walls, terracotta flooring, lovely views out on to the surrounding countryside and delightful en-suite shower or bath rooms feature in all rooms, whilst characterful original features and furnishings differ from room to room. All rooms are also fitted with air-conditioning. Many of the rooms are located off cosy living rooms and guests are made to feel very much at home, whilst still enjoying plenty of privacy.

Enjoying your time here is very easy, there is so much on offer! Guests can enjoy exploring the organic farm, walks in to the vineyard and vegetable garden (with tastings!), truffle hunts, e-bike rental, guided visits to the oil mill and hands on pasta making classes - and much more. The setting is intimate and quiet and the experiences are authentic. Guests are also spoilt with dining at the property with their garden to table concept; the menus utilise the freshest seasonal ingredients that are local to Corte San Ruffillo - most of which is produced on their organic farm, with wines from their vineyard.

NB - a spa and swimming pool is in the process of being built and is estimated to be open July 2020.
