Casa San Gabriel is a gorgeous Italian hideaway, tucked away in the spectacular Umbrian countryside. Located only 20 minutes north of Perugia, the property is an ideal spot for enjoying all that Umbria has to offer, from tranquil countryside and spectacular views of the surrounding olive groves and vineyards, to sleepy villages and bustling market towns.

Casa San Gabriel comprises of three lovingly restored cottages; details of each building below:

La Cantina (2+2 people):

‘The Wine Cellar’ is ideal for a couple, or two friends. There is also the option of using the sofa bed for two additional guests, and a cot or small bed can be added to the main bedroom. The lower level of this cottage consists of a fully equipped kitchen and sitting/dining area with double sofa bed, which leads on to a private terrace (perfect for enjoying those special Italian sunsets!). The top level offers a bedroom which can house either a double bed or two single beds, and a separate bathroom with shower.

La Stalla (2 people):

Once an old stable, La Stalla is an ideal get-away for a couple or two friends sharing. The cottage features a kitchenette, bedroom with double bed or two single beds, bathroom with shower and separate dining area with two comfortable armchairs. There is a large private terrace that surrounds the cottage and boasts view across the valley.

Il Fienile (4+2 people):

‘The Hayloft’ is the largest building at Casa San Gabrial and offers two bedrooms. On the ground floor the bedroom offers buck-bed configuration; the lower level is a small double bed whilst the upper is a single bed. There is a separate shower and bathroom, living/dining area with double sofa bed an equipped kitchen. A mezzanine level provides either a double or two single beds. A private terrace and garden is a gorgeous outdoor space to enjoy, with a big oak tree offering lovely dappled shade.

The three cottages have use of the lovely swimming pool, which benefits from beautiful views across the valley. Guests can also enjoy use of the gardens, which include an olive grove, planted beds, herb garden and vegetable garden. The outdoor pizza oven is a real bonus, with weekly pizza nights a highlight!

The cottages have WiFi and TVs with DVD library, but please note there are no computers.
