Would you like to eat a gourmet four-course dinner every night and not put on a single pound?! We are pleased to say that it can be done, but there’s a small catch. You will need to spend a few hours each day pedalling your way through Piedmont, which is known for its rolling-hilled beauty. But, just remember, what goes up, must come down! And what a view you’ll have as you do…
A lovely long-weekend for keen cyclists, and also those who fancy dabbling in an active break, but want to enjoy some heavenly food along the way! A guilt-free holiday in the making.
Day 1 - The heart of cycling
You will be staying in the heart of the Langhe, which is famous for it’s UNESCO rolling hills and scenic cycle trails. When you’re not on two-wheels, you can relax at your beautiful hotel which has panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.Accommodation
Day 2 - The long and winding road...
Fantastic, food, wine and a daily workout – what more could you want from your holiday! Today you take bikes out from your hotel (which are included) and spend a few hours pedalling through the vineyards and villages of Piedmont. Whilst there are some pretty challenging uphill climbs, the exhilarating descent against the picturesque backdrop is really something to behold! You’ll have worked up an appetite – so tonight, feast on fresh pasta.
Day 3 - With a little help from our friend
…the e-bike! Whilst we know you can put your blood, sweat and tears into climbing the steep hills by bike to admire the view – you don’t have to! With a bit of help from our trusty e-bikes, you can whizz through the country lanes with ease. You will quench your thirst with a little wine-tasting en-route, before continuing on through the medieval towns and villages.
