Inspired by the Lonely Planet’s 2019 travel guide, we have created an e-private bike tour to showcase the highlights of Piedmont. Declared as the ‘world’s best region to visit in 2019’ by Lonely Planet magazine we think that there is no better way to explore the sites than by e-bike (or mountain bike if you’re feeling energetic!). This tour will take in the metropolitan city of Turin, with its cafes, historic buildings and regal architecture. You’ll also enjoy some incredible (delete ‘some’) scenery, including swathes of vineyards and wineries which are central to the unique identity of this region. Visit the little town of Ivrea with its historic carnival, pass by the beautiful Lake Orta and the dramatic Alps. This is an epic tour of the Langhe, with breath-taking scenery, quaint hamlets, gastronomy, truffles and wine!
In this trip by minibus and e-bike you’ll experience the most interesting parts of Piedmont and get well and truly off-the-beaten-track.
Day 1 - Turin by bike
You will meet in Turin this morning or early afternoon (whatever you prefer). Your
journey begins with a guided e-bike excursion of Turin; an extraordinary tour through
the baroque palaces, the Savoy residences, the Lungo Po and the Valentino Castle.
You’ll end the day with an aperitif with breath-taking views in the lounge bar at the
top of the Intesa San Paolo skyscraper.

Venaria Reale. The tour includes a visit to the palace and the beautiful gardens,

restaurants and warm hospitality.
Day 5 - An ancient glacier
