Tranquil is a very special and unique place, offering the perfect combination of a homestay and intimate jungle resort. Visitors to Tranquil will be houseguests of Ajay and Nisha who provide a warm welcome and fascinating insight into life on the plantations of Wayanad.

The property has six rooms, one suite and two wonderful tree houses. The five Garden Rooms are housed in the annex and have the feel of a colonial planter’s bungalow, finished in traditional style. They each have en-suite bathrooms, twin queen size beds and share a private verandah that overlooks the tropical gardens and forest beyond. The deluxe room offers more space and is located in the main bungalow, whilst the suite benefits from its own private garden. The two tree houses of course offer a unique setting and memorable experience. The Tranquilitree Tree House overlooks the coffee plantation and provides a king size bed, en-suite shower room and verandah. The Serenetree Tree Villa can easily accommodate a family/group of four, with a queen size bed, two day beds and two bathrooms along with a private verandah overlooking the plantations and forest below.

One of the highlights of the property is the gardens, which Nisha takes great pride in. Spices, fruits and exotic plants are abundant and the family have created a series of beautiful walks around the property and surrounding plantations. They vary in both length and difficulty, and a series of sign posts along with a handy map guides guests around the land. For those wanting to relax at the resort, there is also a swimming pool and facilities for traditional ayurvedic massages.
