This 3-bedroom villa is perched on a hilltop just outside Calanguate, overlooking paddy fields and a lush tropical garden. It is a spacious property and is set within two acres of private gardens and so it is a great private oasis for your group when you don’t want to be on Goa’s beaches. The villa is fully staffed with a cook, gardeners and security.

The villa is built in a contemporary style with Balinese features. It is light and spacious and has wo pools looking out to the forest below. The main pool is 14x7 metres and so plenty big enough for laps. The lounging pool next to it features benches sunken in the water so a great place for a chat. There is a broad deck which has comfortable loungers and umbrellas flanked by bougainvillea and golden ginger plants.

The centre of the villa is occupied by the beautiful double-height living room, bordered by wide verandas on two sides. The floor-length glass windows and doors are a real highlight. There is a comfortable lounge space with plenty of books to choose from. There are also two dining areas, one inside and one on the veranda with a view of the lawn and pool.

One of the bedrooms (the Koi Suite) is on the ground floor, just off the dining veranda, with direct access to the wide lawn and a little picnic area under the tree. There is a large TV in here (as in all the rooms) with a DVD player and a collection of movies. The suite has a private garden with a Koi pond as well as very large bathroom with a large bathtub. The third room, the Sunflower Suite can be made up into twin beds or an extra-large double.

The Coral Suite has a beautiful four poster bed and large windows with a view over the gardens. This bedroom has its own seating area as well as a large bathroom with bathtub. Once again it has its own seating area and spacious bathroom.

The villa can sleep up to 7 people, but this would require an extra bed in one of the three suites.
