Based on traditional tented accommodation, Chhatra Sagar is a wonderfully luxurious camp offering guests a total escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life, but with all of the amenities to make it a truly comfortable stay. It's location on the edge of a vast reservoir attracts a wide variety of bird and wildlife and creates a serene environment for guests to relax in and experience the sleepy village life.

There are 20 beautiful tents at the camp, all of which overlook the lake, offering fantastic views from their individual private sit outs. Although they are called tents, and are styled as such, they are solid robust structures that are are beautifully furnished with locally crafted furniture, soft muted colours and chic decoration, and have modern en-suite facilities. They are roomy and sound-proofed, and because they all feature heating and air conditioning, the camp remains open all year round.

Fresh local farm produce are the ingredients for the delicious meals prepared at the camp, with an emphasis on traditional Rajasthani recipes. Guests can dine either in the dining tent overlooking the lake, or by the blazing fire in the evenings - either of which are a special experience of dining in the Rajasthani wilderness.

A whole range of excursions and activities can be arranged from the camp, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the wonderful Rajasthan countryside. With an expert local guide, wander out to explore the farm, local temples or down to the lake to witness the varied birdlife and meet the wonderful local people.
