The four bespoke luxury villas at Coco Shambhala Sundhudurg are located in north Goa in a remote part of this area of India and are set to offer the visitor a chance to explore a tropical land of forts and unexplored beaches. Each villa is complete with its own infinity pool with panoramic sea views, 2 large bedrooms also facing out to the sea and a well-stocked bar in the living pavilion which is open air.

This property is luxury in all aspects, from the chemical-free infinity pools to the carefully designed coconut furniture, the season food menus to the finest linen and finally the fantastic selection of wines, spirits and craft beers at your personal bar. There is also an in-house mixologist on hand to create locally inspired cocktails.

The staff here are fantastic and are there to cater for all details of your still, small or large. The managers can offer information on activities such as hiked, bird walks and biking adventures. The kitchen team will contact you before you arrive to discuss your dietary needs and culinary preferences and will tailor menus based on this. There is also a fantastic spa located in the corner of the gardens and offering numerous therapies and massages.

Children of all ages are welcome to Coco Shambhala, only one additional child per room is permitted. Babysitting can be arranged on prior notice and the hotel has highchairs, cot beds and car seats available.

There are a whole host of activities that can be enjoyed from the villa which can be discussed and booked when you are there. You might like to try some of the water sports, including parasailing, jet skiing, banana boats, speed boat rides and wake surfing. There are numerous hikes to enjoy from the property and some of the staff have been trained as guides so they can come with you if you so wish. Stream trekking is available from June – December for the more adventurous offering a 2km walk up streak navigating the jungle and waterfalls.

You can head out on boat rides, fishing and dolphin trips as well as canoe trips on the backwaters. The staff can also arrange BBQ’s on the beach and walks through the historical forts located near here. If scuba diving is for you this is some of the best in India and there are also a large proportion of Leopards in the region, with 5 living on the hill of the property and so sightings are common. Safaris can be arranged in the aim to spot one of these beautiful creatures. The property is also a bird lovers paradise and so you can explore solo or with one of the guides to spot some of the amazing species around here.
