The Culture and Nomad Footprints riding itinerary will take you to Sidi Kaouki, a chilled escape just outside Essaouira. A huge beach beaten by waves is a great place to gallop along the shoreline. The secluded beach is great for walks. At the beginning of the beach, stands facing the sea, the marabout, a tomb of a holy man who gave his name to the place: Sidi Kaouki.
Enjoy 2 hour rides daily, which gives your the opportunity to explore the surroundings. A 20-minutes drive will take you to the market square and you can stroll through the Medina of Essaouira. A ‘camel’ ride will give you the possibility to experience culture and step into the nomad footprints. A lot of people are sceptic about ‘camel’ rides, but I can assure you, this will be a very memorable experience. The guide on the ‘camel’ ride is a real camel whisperer!
