Your Itinerary

Day 1 -

After your arrival you will have a transfer to your accommodation. From Marrakech it will be a 2 to 3 hours transfer to Essaouira.

Check in at your hotel Rebali Riads and settle in.

Accommodation

Day 2 -

After breakfast you will have a transfer to the ranch to meet your guide and the horses. After a short introduction you will go on your first 2-hour ride to explore the surroundings.

You will be back at your accommodation around noon to spend the rest of the day at own leisure

Day 3 -

Time to get a taste of the Moroccan culture! After breakfast you will have time to stroll through the medina.

In the afternoon you will be picked up and taken to the ranch again for a 2 hours sunset camel ride.

Day 4 -

Waking up to the sounds of nature, a real Moroccan breakfast is waiting for you with bread, cheese, orange juice, coffee, milk and tea, before go for another 2-hours ride.

Spend the afternoon in the Medina and enjoy traditional Moroccan mint tea

Day 5 -

Today you will leave after breakfast for another 2-hour hack out, to see more of the surrounding. The afternoon is free to do what you like.

Go visit an Arganoil cooperation for example.

Day 6 -

The morning is free to do some more sightseeing, buy some souvenirs or enjoy a relaxing hammam treatment.

In the afternoon you will have another 2-hour ride over sandy beaches, dunes and along ruins. Enjoy a fast canter along the coastline and feel as free as a bird.

Day 7 -

Time to say goodbye!

Additional option: -

Enjoy an overnight in a Berber bivouac. The camp awaits you with traditional ceremonials of fresh mint tea accompanied by dried fruit. Comfortably under the Berber tent equipped with mattresses and low tables. The cook will serve you a traditional Moroccan dinner. For your comfort there is a toilet and bathroom tent as well.

In the morning you will ride back to the ranch.

The Culture and Nomad Footprints riding itinerary will take you to Sidi Kaouki, a chilled escape just outside Essaouira. A huge beach beaten by waves is a great place to gallop along the shoreline. The secluded beach is great for walks. At the beginning of the beach, stands facing the sea, the marabout, a tomb of a holy man who gave his name to the place: Sidi Kaouki.

Enjoy 2 hour rides daily, which gives your the opportunity to explore the surroundings. A 20-minutes drive will take you to the market square and you can stroll through the Medina of Essaouira. A ‘camel’ ride will give you the possibility to experience culture and step into the nomad footprints. A lot of people are sceptic about ‘camel’ rides, but I can assure you, this will be a very memorable experience. The guide on the ‘camel’ ride is a real camel whisperer! As an additional option, you can spend one night under the canvas of a berber tent and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.
