White Horse Residence is a tranquil retreat in a secluded location by a sweeping stretch of golden sand. With just six one-bedroom and one two-bedroom lodge, it’s a great choice for couples or families (with children 12 years or older) seeking a quiet escape.

As an eco-friendly property, water is heated using solar power, and there is no air-conditioning. However, the rooms remain cool thanks to their high ceilings and rotunda style.

Light lunches and dinners are available at White Horse Residence, all prepared using fresh local ingredients including freshly caught fish from Tanji. Tables are arranged around the pool area with views through the palm trees to the ocean. The sunsets here can be quite spectacular.

An uneven track leads down from the garden to a neverending stretch of unspoilt beach. There’s little here other than some birdlife and a small, local beach bar.

The hotel also features a small open-air beauty parlour where you can enjoy a massage or manicure by appointment only.

A variety of excursions are on offer using the hotel’s own guides, vehicles and boats for which there is an additional charge.

Please note, White Horse Residence will close for the summer from the end of April to the end of October.
