The welcoming, Ocean Bay Hotel, by the sweeping sands of Cape Point Beach, is a fabulous choice for families or anyone seeking a more lively hotel with day time activities and evening entertainment as well the attractions of a small resort on your doorstep.

While most of the hotel activities are focused around the large pool area, away from here, the lush gardens are more tranquil. And the vast sandy beach accessed directly from the hotel is large enough to accommodate everyone, whether seeking a quiet corner or something a little livelier. It’s this location plus the ever-smiling, welcoming staff that really make this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, if a little dated, and all feature a private balcony or terrace. We offer several different room types, including the two-bedroom Executive Suites (which sleep up to four adults and two children).

On-site dining options at Ocean Bay include the Hacienda buffet restaurant with its ever-changing menu, the Buddha à la carte sushi restaurant (open November to April) and a poolside pizza oven and snack bar. Birdwatchers will be pleased to know that early breakfasts are available.

Throughout winter, live bands play regularly and shows by the resident animation team occur daily, while daytime activities include water aerobics, table tennis, beach volleyball and a children’s activity programme subject to minimum numbers.

Located in the resort of Cape Point, a small range of shops, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance for the hotel, as is a colourful craft market. Plus, the livelier resort of Kololi is just a 15-minute taxi ride away.

While the hotel remains open throughout the summer, it may be quieter, not all the restaurants will be open and there will be fewer activities. Please contact us for more information.
