Adventure for the whole family

Kenya is a family holiday playground, offering some of the most pristine wilderness areas. Here the young and young at heart can really immerse into the an unforgettable family adventure safari!

From Nairobi, you will take a flight to the Laikipia County. Here your first 3 nights will be spent in an authentic and family run wilderness tented camp. In other words, this is where the adventure begins!  Your hosts will show you their ‘backyard’ – with opportunities to go on game drives, bush walks and sleep outs!  Depending on the water levels, it is also possible to enjoy some canoeing, swimming and fishing in the rivers.

The family adventure safari continues as you will head to a different lodge. Here you can also enjoy the variety of activities. Over and above, you also have the chance to go on a camel back safari and enjoy fly camping out in the wilderness under the stars.

Masai Mara

The final part of your holiday reaches a highlight as you fly to the Masai Mara for the last 3 nights. A charming tented camp will await you in the park.  The camp is well located along the Talek River. Offering a great location from where to view the migration during the months from around July to October (exact dates are determined by the wildebeest).  The Masai Mara is however home to plenty resident game,  from antelope, giraffe, zebra as  well as larger animals like elephant, buffalo and hippo.  There are also many predators including lion, leopard, hyena plus cheetah and some of the smaller cat species like serval. Basically this is a fantastic all year round game reserve.

This family adventure safari is great for both couples and families alike!  If you are looking for something a little different then do email us for more help in planning your Kenyan safari adventure!
