The name “Eyaru” is an ancient Egyptian concept that signifies what paradise is like for the pharaohs in the afterlife where they live in the Eyaru fields. Eyaru is not only the Dahabiya's name, but its concept. In this Dahabiya get to experience the Egyptian culture and see the Egyptian spirit in everything around you.

Every single detail in the boat has been carefully curated according to the Eyaru concept. The Dahabiya's fully customised decor features traditional design and motifs and almost every element is handmade starting from the plates and glasses to the carpets, the decoration – even the door keys!

Each cabin and bathroom is designed with its own unique theme and colour scheme, elegantly decorated, and fitted with all the amenities that you will need. Natural materials typical of ancient Egyptian culture and the nature of southern Egypt such as papyrus plants, lotus flowers, palms, and banana trees and used for the inscriptions behind the beds, the bedspread covers and pillowcases.

The main sun deck is a gorgeous, large wooden space with comfortable chaise longs and sitting spaces in both a shaded area and in an uncovered area to unwind enjoying the sun and lovely Nile breeze. Attached to the sun deck is a separate indoors area with AC that has spacious sitting and dining areas with full length glass walls to enjoy the lovely Nile views. There is no need to stay indoor during the cold months and miss the picturesque scenery of the Nile during your stay.

Sail the Nile in absolute peace and quietness. Eyaru has no motors; it gets dragged by a tugboat from a distance, so you never feel any disturbing sounds or vibrations during your trip. And for the first time on the Nile, the staff of Eyaru stays at night on the tugboat, so you enjoy complete privacy on board.

Your delicious meals are freshly prepared by professional chefs using high quality local ingredients on board and served on the sundeck, in the dining room or in a beautiful selected milieu with lovely ambiance on the banks of the Nile. During your visits to the local markets, you can even buy fresh ingredients for your dinner that night or buy some fish and fire up the grills on the sundeck! You will get to live the Egyptian experience to its fullest. There is also the possibility to attend live cooking sessions of your dinner and learn local recipes that you can try when you get back home.
