Most flights to Cuba from UK airports fly into Jose Marti International Airport, which is just outside the capital, Havana. There is a direct flight with Virgin Atlantic from London Gatwick ( and from June 2020 it would change to Heathrow). The service runs twice a week on Sundays and Thursdays (from June 2020 on Tuesdays and Saturdays). Flight time from the UK to Cuba is around 10 hours.
Many UK flights to Cuba are not direct, for example Air France operates flights from London Heathrow or Manchester to Cuba via Paris Charles de Gaulle. Another good option is to fly from London/Manchester via Madrid with Iberia or with KLM via Amsterdam. This is just a selection of possible options.
We suggest to avoid the flights via United States as it requires different visa procedures and is more complicated.
Flights usually start from £550 per person.
