The Hotel San Miguel, located close to the Havana Bay, stands in a building acquired and modified around 1923 by Mr. Antonio San Miguel and Segalá, a cultural promoter and distinguished writer, who had been the Director of the La Lucha, a Havana newspaper of great importance during the 1895 Independence War.

Each room comes fitted with an in-room safe, TV set and a sitting area. Every room includes an en-suite bathroom equipped with a bathtub and a hairdryer. The rooms come in a variety of sizes. First floor rooms overlook the port and harbour, they have high ceilings and French windows opening to small balconies. The rooms are painted in vanilla and raspberry colours, many of the furnishings are antique, the furniture is a mixture of modern and colonial styles. Most of the rooms are twin bedded.

With a privileged location, the hotel has an attractive lobby bar, and the Gran Salón, a space conceived for protocol feasts. A whole range of snacks and appetizers are available at the roof garden’s menu that with an amazing view of the El Morro, La Cabaña and La Punta fortresses makes of this stopover an offer of excellence for the visitor.

Breakfast is served in the bar each morning which is also opened 24 hours for the guests to unwind with a favourite drink after a busy day out. The hotel is locate in the centre of Havana approx. 25-minute drive to Jose Marti International airport.
