The Hotel San Miguel, located close to the Havana Bay, stands in a building acquired and modified around 1923 by Mr. Antonio San Miguel and Segalá, a cultural promoter and distinguished writer, who had been the Director of the La Lucha, a Havana newspaper of great importance during the 1895 Independence War.

Each room comes fitted with an in-room safe, TV set and a sitting area. Every room includes an en-suite bathroom equipped with a bathtub and a hairdryer. The rooms come in a variety of sizes. First floor rooms overlook the port and harbour, they have high ceilings and French windows opening to small balconies. The rooms are painted in vanilla and raspberry colours, many of the furnishings are antique, the furniture is a mixture of modern and colonial styles. Most of the rooms are twin bedded.

With a privileged location, the hotel has an attractive lobby bar, and the Gran Salón, a space conceived for protocol feasts.
