Pick-up by your English speaking Cuban guide at your hotel, where a classic 1950s American car with driver is waiting for a panoramic tour through the Havana of the 1950s. Start your tour at the “El Morro” fortress on the other side of the bay with panoramic views on Havana’s skyline. Continue along the Malecon and through the Vedado quarter with its variety of architecture, the American Embassy and via Avenida de los Presidentes to the Revolution Square. Pass the Columbus cemetery, one of the biggest in Latin America and drive through the Parque Almendares, the green lung of Havana with its fairy-tale like big Ceiba trees set along a romantic river. Further on to the residential and diplomatic quarter of Miramar with its beautiful mansions and former American Clubs at Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue). Finally enjoy a Mojito at the garden of the historic Hotel Nacional with views over the Malecon to the sea and visit the nostalgic „Bar de la Fama“ listening to anecdotes about the Mafia und other „Celebrities“ of the 1950s.
