During the “Havana by night” tour you will discover Havana in a unique way. You pass the most important districts of Havana in the darkness and get completely new impressions of the life in Havana by night. The ride with our e-bikes is in contrast to most other metropolis of the world, a very relaxing experience. Traffic is reduced to a minimum and the streets are almost empty. Due to the many holes you’ll cycle only through well lit streets and alleys of Havana. During day already imposing buildings awake in the darkness, lightened by the spotlights in an unknown beauty. Your guide meets you with the e-bikes in the Parque Mariana Grajales, in Vedado. After a short introduction to the bikes and adjustments to each individual height, you will receive some general information about the roads and rules of Cuban traffic. Now you are ready to begin your discovery-tour in Havana. After pedaling through some very calm streets to get used to the electric vehicles, you’ll hopefully see a spectacular sunset while riding on the 8 km long promenade, called “El Malecón”. Afterwards you take some narrow streets and alleys of Habana Centro and Habana Vieja. On your way you cross some pompous places like the “Plaza de la Revolución”, with its impressive illumination. You pass the stadium Latinoamericano, the home stadium of Industriales, the baseball team of Havana, to reach Habana Vieja, coming from the harbor-side with direction to Cuatro Camino. Between Habana Vieja and Habana Centro several points of interests are located as for example El Parque de la Fraternidad, El Capitolio, El Gran Teatro, El Parque Central, Hotel Manzanas , El Prado, the historical hotel Inglaterra and many other spectacular buildings. You’ll stay a little longer at these historical places to take some photos that you could not take during the day. From there on you are heading to Habana Centro, Neptuno, San Nicolas, Galliano, which originally is called Avenida Italia, you pass the famous restaurant La Guardia at the Concordia and crawl into the Callejón de Hamel and learn something about the Santeria. You are almost at the Habana Libre, which was opened shortly before the revolution as a Hilton Hotel, but did not maintain afterward. You pass the Hotel Nacional, where many famous people used to find accommodation. If possible you visit the Salón de la Fama and enjoy a Mafia-Mojito. You are now in the more elegant district Vedado with its plenty of architectural diversity already heading back to your starting point.
