Hotel Belisario Jara is a rustic and simple hotel in Coyhaique. It enjoys a great, central location near the town’s main square so it is perfect for stopping over during a self drive of the Carretera Austral. Coyhaique is a big town of around 50k inhabitants and it is a young settlement as it was only founded in 1929. It is the gateway to remote areas in Patagonia and it is the capital of the Aysen region of Chile. Being centrally located, the hotel will give you access to bars and restaurants and any outlet that Coyhaique has to offer.

The hotel has only 8 rooms with private facilities and offers parking and a complimentary breakfast with your stay. Breakfast is prepared daily with freshly squeezed juices, home baked cakes and pastries and savoury offerings, the perfect start to a busy day! The hotel is suitable for both guests travelling as a couple or families. This is a very remote area of Chile so hotels are often simple in style so do not expect luxury, however, you will find comfort and some of the country’s friendliest people!
