Fauna Hotel enjoys a great location in Pasaje Dimalow, the centre of Cerre Alegre which is a beautiful historical district of Valparaiso. The building dates back to 1870 and it is traditionally designed. From its great vantage point you will be able to see panoramic views of the nearby bay, Cerro Concepción, and Cerro Panteón.
The hotel has a great gastronomic restaurant location in the upper floor and with direct access to the street so it is also open to the public. The tables are scattered both indoor and outdoor on the terrace so that on lovely days you can enjoy the beautiful views. The restaurant offers signature cuisine comprising national dishes and the bar has a great selection of craft beers, signature cocktails and wines, mostly Chilean of course!
The 22 rooms have been designed in keeping with the iconic architecture of Valparaiso and with the help of several national artists who brought to life native wood, adobe and several other design accents and details to create unique rooms.
The accommodation is split into three categories. The standard rooms offer views of either the nearby alleys or the interior patio. The superior enjoy the view of Concepción Hill and the Fauna Suite has a partial view of the bay. All rooms are bright, comfortable and quite minimalist in their decor. The Fauna Suite also offers a separate living area. We do suggest to upgrade to the Superior if you like to have plenty of space or if you can treat yourself, the Fauna Suite.
If you are travelling to Chile to celebrate a special occasion, the hotel offers couples packages including a romantic dinner and a massage.
