Explora Rapa Nui is located 8 km away from Hanga Roa in a mesmerizing location surrounded by trees, prairies and views of the Pacific Ocean. All the programs offered include accommodation, transfers to and from the airport, meals and drinks and a menu of over 30 explorations routes designed by the experienced outdoor team. These are in the form of hikes, bicycle routes, snorkeling and diving activities. Some have a more nature focus whilst others focus on the mystical history of the island. You will always be accompanied by bilingual guides who have been extensively trained by Explora to meet their high standards of knowledge and customer service.

In the hotel’s grounds you will find a wonderful spa and swimming pool, the Explorer’s bar and a restaurant serving high end cuisine. There is also a souvenir shop.

The 30 rooms of Explora Rapa Nui are designed to take full advantage of the silence, privacy, and spaciousness of the surrounding landscape, ensuring deep rest after a long day of exploration. They are conceived so that you can seek disconnection from everyday routine and because of this they do not feature either televisions or WiFi, you will find these only in the hotel’s common areas.

There are 26 Varúa rooms offering a spacious 32 sqm space and views of the sea. If you want to treat yourself or are travelling with children, we suggest upgrading to one of the 4 Raa Suites as they offer a bigger leaving space of 44 sqm and also enjoy beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. All rooms come with the same amazing facilities including safe, air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with bathrobes, luxury amenities and separate environment for the toilet.
