Explora Patagonia opened its doors in 1993, the very first hotel inside the Torres del Paine National Park, hence also opening the doors to tourism in this area of Patagonia. Explora is all about offering real and diverse experiences, or better, explorations, for you, the visitor, to get under the skin of your surroundings. This is why nowadays, Explora hotels offer some of the most extensive range of excursions led by experienced guides who have been through the Explora training.

The building itself is anchored like a ship by Lake Pehoé, at the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. A privileged location from where to go out and explore the park and from where to enjoy stunning views, whether you are resting in your room, having breakfast in the restaurant or relaxing in the spa’s pool.

Explora Patagonia’s rooms are the perfect combination of simplicity and comfort in order to ensure a deep rest after a day of exploration. With amazing views to the Paine Massif, Paine River or Salto Chico Falls, their welcoming and cosy decoration make them a unique place to disconnect yourself and enjoy. There are 36 Cordillera Paine Rooms with stunning views of the Paine mountain range and 6 Salto Chico rooms with views to the eponymous waterfall, both categories are just under 30 sqm in size. If you want to treat yourself, you can choose among 6 Exploradores suites, bigger in size with 42 sqm and views of the Paine Massif. All rooms come with the same facilities and can be configured with either a double or twin beds. There are also some interconnecting rooms if you are travelling with children.

Explora Patagonia offers All Inclusive packages with full board, return transfers from Punta Arenas airport and excursions that you can choose from a menu of 40 different explorations, either hiking or horseback riding to some of the circuits of the renowned W trek and other less explored routes, all aimed at familiarising yourself with the typical geography and wildlife of Patagonia.

And when not exploring or relaxing, enjoy wonderful cuisine designed to be tasty but light and to bring out the best of each product. Of course accompanied by Chilean wines!
