This lodge is a true delight to spend a few nights whilst self driving the Carretera Austral. It is located at the edge of the forest and above the wooden walkways of Caleta Tortel. The lodge and village are not accessible by vehicles, which have to be left outside of the village. We suggest only bringing an overnight bag with you and leave your main luggage in the car if you are doing a self driving program. The walk will be just over 2 kms but we promise that it will be well worth it!

The hotel is entirely constructed with the locat Guaitecas Cypress so it is delightfully rustic and the centre stage of the communal areas is the roaring wood fire around which you will find an open plan reception, lounge, library, dining room and bar, creating a very convivial space where you are invited to meet up with other guests and socialise.

The hotel only offers 6 rooms thus guaranteeing a truly personalised service, thanks to the owners and their small team. The accommodation quarters will provide you with wonderful views of the surrounding forest, central heating and cosy goose-down duvets. They all have en-suite facilities with amenities and local design touches.

A rich and delicious breakfast is usually prepared by the owner, Maria Paz and includes a lot of homemade delicacies including jams, bread and scrumptious cakes. You can also enjoy other meals prepared by the local chef using fresh local organic ingredients.
