With an infinity pool, fitness room, and elevator, Oceanus might better be described as a mansion than a villa. The layout and decor are contemporary with clean lines, high ceilings in the great room, and plenty of windows looking out toward the Caribbean.

The main level is an airy great room with open plan kitchen, living, and dining areas. A full kitchen includes a 6-burner gas range, double ovens, beverage fridge, full size refrigerator and freezer, two dishwashers, small appliances such as microwave, toaster, coffee and espresso makers, utensils, dishes, and other kitchen essentials. The dining table seats up to 12 and another 8 can dine at the bar. An outdoor table seats 8. Two additional tables with chairs can be set up. The outdoor kitchen has a fridge, sink, prep counter, and large gas grill.

A separate fitness/game room includes shuffleboard, an elliptical machine, free weights, TV with US cable, DVD player with selection of DVDs, and sitting area. The living room has ample seating and US Cable TV.

The master suite is located on the ground floor. It has a king bed and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. The open plan bed/bath room includes an oversize walk-in shower with double shower heads, two private water closets with sinks, dual sinks in the main vanity area and a walk-in closet. The room is outfitted with US cable TV, Apple TV, and a Sonos sound system. It has direct access to the shared pool deck.

There are four bedrooms on the first floor. The first has a king bed, ocean and garden views, a private oceanview balcony, Apple TV, and a Sonos sound system. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms on this level are similar to the first but have pure ocean views, access to a shared balcony, and a pocket door connecting to the two bedrooms. The fourth bedroom of this floor has two queen beds, a single daybed, Apple TV, X-Box gaming system, and private ocean view balcony. The ensuite bathroom is also accessible from the hallway and includes a whirlpool tub. One level up is an ocean view family suite. There is one queen bed, two sleeper sofas, an ensuite bath with walk-in shower, a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, and two burners, and a large ocean-facing balcony.

Children are welcome and a variety of amenities are provided for young guests and families including pool and beach toys, board games, books, an iPad and a Google Chromebook.

For stays longer than five nights, one mid-week cleaning is provided. Assistance with rental cars, boat charters, and other reservations is available through the villa's concierge service. The following staff and services can be arranged at additional cost: daily maid service, villa attendant/butler service, babysitting, wine/liquor delivery, grocery pre-stocking, in-villa massage and spa treatments, yoga, Pilates mat, and personal training, VIP airport fast track to speed through immigration upon arrival.

Oceanus is located in the Frank Sound area along the south coast of Grand Cayman. It is about 30 minutes from Owen Roberts International Airport and 35 minutes from Seven Mile Beach. Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park is only a five minute drive from the house. The villa sits right on the beach and it's safe to enter the water and swim directly off shore. There's a bit of turtle grass at the shoreline leading to a soft sandy bottom further out.
