Exploring Cayman Islands

Grand Cayman Getaway

Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Grand Cayman

Alight from your flight directly onto the warm tarmac at Owen Roberts International Airport. Meet your driver for the short ride to your cottage directly on Seven Mile Beach. You’ll be right on time to grab a prime spot to watch the sunset over the sparkling Caribbean.

Days 2-6 - Relax & Explore

Your cottage is located directly on Seven Mile Beach, walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops, plenty of water sports to choose from, and great places to kick back with a good book and perhaps a cocktail or two. When you’re feeling a bit more active, fill a few hours or a day exploring. We’ve got some ideas for you below.

Day 7 - Farewell to Paradise

Take one final day to soak up the warm rays of the sun and friendly smiles of Caymanians. If you’re flying directly back to London, you’ll have the entire day to enjoy before your driver collects you for the ride to the airport. Go ahead, have another cocktail or another piece of rum cake. We won’t tell anyone.

Stingray City -

Sail across to Stingray City, a sandbar where southern stingrays gather. The rays are friendly so don’t be surprised when they brush across your legs as you stand in the shallows. Local legend has it that kissing one gives seven years of good luck so don’t be shy and pucker up! If you’re up for an even greater adventure, you can jetski across the bay instead of sailing.

Drive The Island -

Hire a car for the day and explore beyond the beach. Stop at Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park to look for blue iguanas or take a guided walk to learn about tropical plants and the history of the islands. Stop at Pedro St James for an interactive exhibit and continue on to the blow holes to watch waves crash through the rocks into the air. Look out for beaches along the way – you just might get one all to yourselves!

Sail to Rum Point -

Pass an evening with a sunset sail to Rum Point. Dig your toes into the sand, grab a mudslide, and tuck into dinner accompanied by the sound of lapping waves and conversation amongst new friends. When night sets in and you glide back across the sea, grab a spot on the foredeck to lay back and take in the stars.

Dive some of the best conditions in the world -

Whether you’re an experienced diver or considering trying it for the first time, the Cayman Islands are a delight to dive. The water is warm, currents are gentle or non-existent, and the visibility is some of the best in the world. This photo was taken 28 meters below the surface and that’s a normal day underwater here.

Retail Therapy & Fine Dining -

Walk the streets of George Town or browse the shops in Camana Bay. If you crave a touch of retail therapy, you’ll be spoilt for choice. From luxury brands and fine jewelry to artisan crafts and locally made goods, you’ll find plenty of ways to fill that new bag you picked up. When hunger strikes, sit down to a gourmet meal in any number of world class restaurants. We’ll give you a list of our favourites.

Ride into the sea or the sunset -

Fancy riding a horse into the ocean or along the beach? A sunset ride on the sand is a romantic way to wind down a day. If you’ve the family with you – or anyone up for something a little different – take a ride along the beach and into the Caribbean. We know just the team to guide you into the ocean and back again.
