If you want to spend a couple of nights falling asleep to nothing but the sound of birds chirping, this is the perfect place to head. Don?t expect luxury, the cabins are clean and pleasant but very basic. The natural beauty of the surrounding area more than makes up for the lack of jacuzzi bath tubs and spa treatments.

The four thatched cabins are decorated in a simple style with rattan beds, wicker furniture and small bamboo en-suites. Their finest feature are the private balconies that offer tremendous views over the river.

Only accessible by boat, the accommodation is arranged on sturdy platforms along the Tatai River's bank, deep in the lush Koh Kong province.

An open-air restaurant is located in the middle of the accommodation, which serves a good menu of Khmer specialities, along with Asian and European favourites, all made from fresh local produce.

There are some lovely activities to be arranged in the area including trekking and cycling in the forest, cookery courses, an excursion to the great Tatai waterfall nearby, and of course boat trips down the river to look out for rainforest creatures and visit nearby fishing villages.
