Raingsey Bungalows scores big points for its exotic gardens. Hidden among the trees, flowers and foliage you will find bungalows full of character, a lovely swimming pool and a cute wooden bar-cum-restaurant that oozes intimacy.

With only nine bungalows, this boutique resort, is full of charm and smiles. Majority of the bungalows are quite basic but nicely done. Of all the 'cute bungalow' settings in Kep (and there's a few), this one remains our favourite for its lovely atmosphere and well maintained grounds.

The Twin, Double and King Rooms are all pretty much identical apart from the size of the beds. Expect a lovely vintage tiled floor, bare walls and funky bed platforms made from grey cement. Although the rooms aren?t huge, they are clean, smart and comfortable, offering tremendous value for money. There is also a family bungalow with a double bed and a separate room with twin beds - ideal for families with small children.

Despite being in a coastal town (please note Kep does not have a beach anyway) the resort is located inland, but what it lacks in ocean views it certainly makes up for in the the tropical garden department.

The bar is a wooden building that blends into its surroundings with a small restaurant area upstairs. It offers a surprisingly varied range of food with everything from soups and spring rolls to seafood and western food. In an area that is renowned for juicy, fresh crab, the Raingsey Bungalows restaurant ensures you won't miss out.
