Fleewinter

Located in the heart of rural Battambang, Maisons Wat Kor promises a real authentic stay in a Cambodian village. Run by the lovely Cambodian host Nou, the hotel has successfully blended Khmer traditions and style with all the services and facilities you would find in a western hotel.

The hotel consists of three wooden buildings built in traditional Khmer architecture, set in spacious tropical gardens and also has an outdoor swimming pool to enjoy after a hard day of sightseeing.

There are two different types of rooms; the Frangipani rooms are on the ground floor of two buildings. These have interconnecting doors so are ideal for families. Above these rooms are the Lotus rooms which have lovely views over the gardens and pool.

All rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with furniture and local materials. They have a desk, fan, air conditioning and wi-fi. Upon request, and subject to availability, a TV can be installed.Every room has a terrace or balcony.

In the main wooden building there is a restaurant, bar and reading area. The restaurant menu changes daily and offers some fantastic Khmer specialities.

The hotel runs a free tuk-tuk shuttle service into town every day. Battambang is about four hours by car from Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
