This luxurious river cruiser promises to offer an incredibly memorable trip down the Mekong River, between Vietnam and Cambodia. You can step out on to your private balcony, sipping your cocktail made from the fruit of the land that surrounds you. The boat has a lovely sundeck with a jacuzzi, spa, and very smart dining and bar areas, which are large enough to give you plenty of space without feeling impersonal.

Like the other cruise liners that run this route, the Jayavarman offers a 7-night cruise between Saigon and Siem Reap as well as shorter 3 or 4 night cruises between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh in Cambodia and Phnom Penh and Saigon in Vietnam.

It has four different types of cabins available. The Jayavarman Superior Stateroom have balconies and are very spacious with smart en-suite bathrooms, while the Deluxe Staterooms are slightly larger and on the upper deck. They are decorated in warm tones with dark weighty antique furniture that represents the 1930s Indochine lifestyle.

The Signature Staterooms have their own identity. There are two Signatures available – the Bao Dai and the Jayavarman –both sitting on the upper deck. The Bao Dai Signature Stateroom is dominated by a dark wood king bed set against soft Saffron coloured walls, while the Jayavarman Signature Stateroom is dedicated to the Khmer culture.

The Henry Mouhot lounge, named after the French archeologist who discovered the Angkor temple complex, is the perfect place to curl up with a book. And if you fancy a tipple or two, the Club 1930 Bar and Funnel Lounge will transport you back to the 30s and 40s with comfortable sofas and chairs.

It is difficult not to be wowed by the Indochine Dining Hall. The ever-smiling chefs prepare fresh eggs – any which way you desire – for breakfast and romance fills the dinner atmosphere.

Everyday you will take excursions off the boat to see the local community and life around you - the boat’s daily program, excursions and dining times are placed in your cabin during the turn down service the night before.
