The 4 Rivers Floating Lodge offers a completely unique way to enjoy Cambodia's nature. With just 12 simple but stylish floating tents stretching across the idyllic River Tatai, it is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Ideal for the intrepid traveller, there are beaches, rain forests and waterfalls to explore nearby.

Although described as 'tents' - this is not camping as you know it. The tents are spacious and beautifully equipped with fans, rattan beds, wardrobe, chaise lounge, chairs and coffee table with a big long-haired rug and soft furnishings to complete the picture. The resort also has a restaurant, two cabanas providing alfresco shade and a living room library area in the central area but the best place to relax is on the your private sun deck, which has steps down into the river, beside the tent.

The tents even have TVs and DVDs for lazy days. The bathroom has a round wooden tub, serving as a bath and a shower cubicle and there are two sun loungers on the wooden deck outside.

The restaurant in the centre is nicely designed and offers a good range of international and Cambodian favourites, with snacks available throughout the day. The menu changes daily as it depends on the fresh supplies of the day, naturally there are some wonderful river fish dishes on offer - you can even go fishing yourself and ask the staff to prepare your catch of the day for you.

There are some lovely activities on offer in this area, which we can help arrange for you. You can go fishing with locals, kayak down the river, enjoy trekking in the Cardamom Mountains or even take a sunset cruise on the resort?s impressive boat. We can arrange excursions to the nearby Tatai Waterfall, which is calm in the dry season (October to April) but extremely powerful at other times - you can relax and sunbathe in its pools.

The resort is below the Cardamom Mountains and about 20 minutes by road from the town of Koh Kong, which is on the border with Thailand. However, the resort is accessed by boat only, which takes a rather lovely 10 minutes.
