Your Itinerary

day 1 - Arrival Victoria Falls

A morning flight from Johannesburg gets you to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe where a friendly representative will meet you to take you to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, your base for the next 3 nights on a B&B basis.

day 2 & 3 - Victoria falls - your playground

You have 2 full days to explore the sights in and around the Falls.  There is a playground of activities from white water rafting, canoeing, micro-lighting over the Falls, cultural tours and the famous Boma dinners at the hotel where you can sample a variety of the African culinary delights.

Day 4, 5 & 6 - Chobe national park

A morning road transfer gets you across to Botswana where you will be spending the next 3 nights at Muchenje Safari Lodge in  private concession of Chobe.  You can expect a variety of safari experiences from the traditional game drives, boat trips, walking excursions in the bush, night drives and a visit to the local village.  All meals and drinks are included in your stay.

day 7 - return via kasane

Enjoy the last morning safari activity followed by a scrumptious breakfast before it is time to say the last goodbyes.  You will be taken by road to Kasane Airport to meet a connecting flight back to Johannesburg, arriving in the mid afternoon and allowing comfortable time to connect with your international flight back to London.

The Vic Falls & Chobe Adventure 7-day itinerary is ideal for couples and families looking for an exciting safari experience. This itinerary is designed to offer adventure and safari all in one, in some of the most beautiful regions of Southern Africa.

Your adventure starts with 3 nights in Vic Falls, where you will have 2 full days to explore the area. Victoria Falls is an historic town dating back to 1901 and has grown to be a popular tourist destination. There are a variety of tours and nature walks to enjoy, as well as micro-light flights offering breath-taking birds eye views over the iconic Victoria Falls. For those looking for a bit of adventure, you won’t be disappointed with a day of white water rafting, or some canoeing in the calmer areas of the Zambezi. Those looking for more relaxation can enjoy a few hours of shopping or restaurant hopping or go on an educational tour of the town. Victoria Falls is one of those areas that really has something to offer everyone.

The final 2 nights of your Vic Falls & Chobe Adventure will take you to Chobe National Park. Chobe National Park is one of Botswana’s largest parks and is known for its diversity of plant and animal life. Immerse yourself in the area by enjoying traditional game drives, walking safaris and cultural village visits. You can also go on a night time bush drive – which will give you the chance to see some of the shyer and more nocturnal animals or enjoy a boat trip along the Chobe River and see the pods of hippos bathing and playing in the waters.

This is the 'gateway' to the Okavango Delta and the main starting point of most safaris in Botswana.
