Skippered charter isn’t on your radar yet as you scroll the internet looking for a dream holiday. You stumble across a picture of a hammock on the bow of a yacht.
The Googling stops as you picture yourself in that hammock.

What is the difference between a fully crewed yacht and a skippered charter?
In steps Fleewinter.
The joy of both fully crewed and private skippered charter is that you don’t need any experience to enjoy either sailing holiday.
With our two different crew level options you can expect to feel safe and secure knowing that your holiday is being guided by experts.
The fully crewed option is our ‘no holds barred’ luxury experience.
It’s comfortable cabins with en-suite bathrooms. A professional captain to do all the yacht work, and a private chef to prepare delicious meals.
Plus, each yacht has a speedboat with water skis, wakeboard and a ‘ringo’ donut for the thrill-seekers. There are stand-up paddleboards, a windsurf rig, fins, masks and fishing gear in the ‘garage.’
And for the ultimate luxury sailing experience, how about a deck massage with our on-board spa experience?
Fully Crewed trips are half board so for dinner you can either step ashore to a traditional Greek taverna and soak up the heady Greek summer atmosphere, or eat on-board anchored in a tranquil bay, with food prepared by your private chef.
Prices are on a per person basis and can be found here.
This price includes your yacht, skipper and chef, all fuel and marina fees, private speedboat, unlimited watersports, taxes and local charges.
The extras are flights, transfers, carbon offset for your trip, and a crew gratuity.
Not ready to dive right in with a fully crewed luxury yacht but don’t want to miss out on a sailing adventure?
Dip a toe in the water with a private skippered charter.
Your yacht comes with your very own Captain and First Mate to ‘show you the ropes’ and help you get the most out of your sailing adventure.
They will take care of the sailing, mooring and help you plan a safe route around the weather and your preferences.
Your First Mate will assist the Captain on deck as well as keeping communal areas spotless.
Prices and Inclusions for a Private Skippered Charter option can be found here.
I know I am slightly biased but I have to say both options are fabulous. Both will ensure you have a wonderful sailing experience and are looked after by professional crew.
A few considerations for you:
If you are a morning person who likes to find the quaintest cafes for a morning coffee and pastry? Or you love finding a new favourite food and preparing it for your party? Go flexible with the Skippered Charter.
And the big one…are you the person that predominantly cooks and cleans at home and fancy a break…go Fully Crewed and put those feet up!

If holidays are precious and treasured, then sailing holidays are the jewel in your crown.
Don’t spend one more holiday on a quayside looking at the yacht in the background. Instead, be the people having the time of their lives on that yacht!
