MOROCCO

Morocco is a wonderful destination to visit during the summer months, and there are many reasons why. The country’s beautiful beaches are a popular attraction during the summer, with destinations such as Essaouira, Agadir, and Tangier offering visitors a chance to swim, sunbathe, and enjoy water activities.

Additionally, Morocco hosts several festivals during the summer, including the Gnaoua World Music Festival in Essaouira and the Imilchil Marriage Festival in the Atlas Mountains, which offer visitors a chance to experience local culture and traditions.

The summer months are also a great time to explore Morocco’s mountains and go hiking. The Atlas Mountains offer stunning views and a chance to see traditional Berber villages. Furthermore, Morocco’s markets, or souks, are a must-visit for any traveler, with bustling activity and everything from spices to textiles to jewelry.

JORDAN

Jordan is a beautiful country that is worth visiting in the summer, despite the heat. One of the advantages of visiting Jordan in summer is the lower tourist crowds, which means that you can explore popular attractions like Petra and Wadi Rum without dealing with large crowds. In addition, Jordan hosts several festivals and events during the summer months, such as the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts and the Amman Summer Festival, which provide visitors with the opportunity to experience the local culture, music, and food.

Despite the heat, there are still plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in Jordan during the summer, such as hiking, swimming, and snorkeling. The Dead Sea is a popular spot to cool off during the hot summer months.

Finally, some hotels and airlines offer discounts during the summer months to attract visitors, which can make it a more affordable time to visit Jordan. Overall, visiting Jordan in the summer is a unique and memorable experience that should not be missed.

LUXURY SAILING

Sailing in the Ionian on your own yacht has got to be up there as one of the best Summer Holidays. I know we are extremely biased, but it really does have it all. A different location every day without having to change hotels, a captain and chef to take you to the best places and make you the most amazing dishes, of course there is also all the water activities you could ask for including, but not limited to, paddleboarding, water-skiing and I suppose we should mention sailing!

The route is decided during the week depending on the weather and what you fancy doing for the day; secluded bays, cosy tavernas, bustling towns or perfect sunset spots are all within reach. In fact, a sailing holiday is the perfect summer holiday to soak up the sun with family and friends.

BORNEO

Borneo is a bucket-list trip for many and the images that come to mind are often of Sepilok Orangutan Centre and the rainforest of Danum Valley. We love these areas and the rest of Sabah yet a piece of our hearts belong to lesser-visited Sarawak.

The vibrant riverfront city of Kuching is home to boutique hotels and eminently walkable neighborhoods. It’s a perfect base for exploring the region without having to pack up and move every two nights. Visit the orangutans at Semenggoh, look for river dolphins and fireflies, head for a turtle sanctuary, walk the trails of Bako to take in the distinctive sound of proboscis monkeys in the wild, or visit a longhouse to learn about the history of headhunters and today’s tribal lifestyle.

Oh, and did we mention you could do this all from a gorgeous beachfront hotel or a riverfront city-centre boutique hotel?
Mauritius - escape to tropical bliss on this exotic island tucked into the magical Indian Ocean

MAURITIUS

Mauritius is the perfect destination for your summer holiday if you’re looking for something relaxing but with plenty to keep the entire family entertained. Fly direct from London- only a 4-hour time difference, so relax straight into your holiday!

This island really has it all. Heavenly beaches and a gorgeously lush interior that offer the opportunity to explore and do plenty of interesting activities.

TURKEY

2 gorgeous 3 bedroom villas with sleek, contemporary interiors, breath-taking sea views, and remarkably 2 infinity pools each!  Ying and Yang are part of the popular Villa Mahal hotel in beautiful Kalkan, with an excellent waterfront restaurant and beach club with a choice of fun water sports activities for all ages.

Located in upmarket Kalkan, a stunning harbour town with excellent choice of restaurants, bars and boutiques on Turkey’s glittering ‘Turquoise Coast’.  This pretty town is a great choice for a family holiday looking for a combination of lazy days by the pool, activities at sea and exploring the more rural surrounding villages and fascinating historical sites.

ICELAND

Discover Iceland during the summer months when the weather is warmer and the days never end. Bathe in hot springs and hike, snowmobile or ride across glaciers, volcanoes, black sand ‘diamond’ beaches and past breathtaking waterfalls and geysirs. Snorkel or dive between tectonic plates (the only place in the world you can do this inland).

Embark on a whale-watching expedition on traditional schooners and take a superjeep tour up into the Valley of The Gods or learn to paddleboard through beautiful fjords and ride the safe and sturdy Icelandic Horse across jaw-dropping scenery.
