Family Holidays to take in 2025

By Gosia Wasikowska on 30th May, 2025

What are the best family holidays to take in 2025?

If you’re anything like me, your plate is 95% full.

Finding the time to sit and research, plan and ultimately book holidays eats that remaining 5% faster than I can say has-everyone-got-their-passport?

The solution? Asking a professional to plan, book and coordinate your bespoke family holiday.

Outsource the country research, the time spent sorting out routes, the checking of hotel availability, the figuring out how to get from A to B, to someone who does it all day long (and will likely get great rates, thanks to personal relationships in-country.)

For me, that meant turning to my colleagues, and asking where we should go, and when.

According to our team of ‘Flees’ these are some of the best family holidays to take in 2025 and 2026. (Scroll to the bottom for how to avoid TikTok FOMO)

Asia is a phenomenal destination for families - plenty to see and do, and internal transfers are quick and easy.

A big challenge we’re seeing for family holidays in 2025 and beyond?

TikTok FOMO. How to balance what your kids are seeing on the internet with having a truly authentic, experience-rich family holiday.

Over the last few months, the Fleewinter team have been on some great visits to their countries, to update knowledge and go and say hi to our friends and colleagues.

One thing that’s stood out?

The hordes of people lining up to take the same photo, and the massive price inflation that goes with it. Doesn’t really sound like a great use of time on holiday, does it?

Luckily, there’s an easy way to sidestep TikTok FOMO – work with someone who knows a country inside out, and who will make sure you whisk past the crowds to go and see something much more authentic than the latest viral video.

Trend follower? Nah.

Trend setter? Much cooler.

Family holiday planning is the first thing to get cut from my week when I'm busy - which just means when it comes to the school hols, I feel unprepared. I've started using our own company to plan our family trips - buying myself time and the ability to feel excited, rather than stressed about it!
