‘I wasn’t so keen on the fish restaurant on the beach in Sidi Kaouki. Your notes rave about it and when we went other people eating there did clearly like it and people we spoke to loved it ….but personally I was very put off by the enormous number of dogs and cats roaming around. They literally on the tables. Two donkeys even tried to charge in, which was actually quite funny! The man serving (and I think maybe even cooking the food) would shove the dogs or cats( or both away) then serve the food! Anyone like me who is not keen on lots and lots of animals near food might like to be warned about it. It was certainly an experience. I was told after that there is even a monkey inside but we didn’t see that. My kids enjoyed it and still refer to it as “The cats and dogs restaurant”‘
