Currently, getting to Belize requires a change of flight. There are a few options available to you, including a change in Cancun (Mexico) or various different US airports.

Via Cancun, Mexico
Flights from the UK to Cancun are between 10-11 hours and then your second flight, Cancun to Belize City is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes long. You can get direct flights to Cancun from Stansted through Thomas Cook and TUI and British Airways and Virgin Atlantic offer direct flights from Gatwick. We recommend taking a Tropic Air flight on to Belize City from Cancun. Alternatively, if you prefer overland travel from Cancun to Belize, we can arrange a private transfer which gives you the option of stopping off at one of the various Mayan sites in Mexico, before entering Belize over the northern border. This journey takes about 5 hours to enter Belize.
Via the US
Going via the US, you have many options of stopover, including Miami, Houston, Dallas and Atlanta. Flying via Miami is the shortest flight time with a 9 hour flight followed by a 2 hour flight. Flying via the US, Heathrow and Manchester have the best options.
