The owners of Hervey Bay Colonial Lodge have their own commuter bus, for exclusive use of guests. They can take guests shopping and or to see the herd of about 50 Kangaroos in the wild, only 10 minutes from the motel, free of charge.

The owners have bought the beachfront Hervey Bayline Motel, backing onto Hervey Bay Colonial Lodge, so they could have direct access to the beach which means, it’s only a 30 second walk to the beach now.
