This is a great mountain retreat, perfectly made to escape the hustle of big cities and relax a few days enjoying amazing views and treating the body and mind.

Access to these mountains, where the hotel is located, is by 4WD vehicle only, passing through a checkpoint near Izki – a 2.5 hour drive south-west of Muscat.

At this high altitude, the villages enjoy a Mediterranean climate, with orchards and fields kept alive by ingenious irrigation. The hotel lies very much at the end of the road, by Hayl ad Diyar.

Frankincense,coffee and dates for a welcome, then enjoy tremendous views across the ancient, rugged mountains, with a 600 metre-deep ravine below from the poolside and your room.
