This beautiful boutique hotel, which feels more like a lovely old house, is perched on the riverside is tranquil and peaceful surroundings. It is located outside the centre of the city in District Two, which is a popular expat area but its pretty riverside location means the hotel is just a short speedboat ride away from the busy centre.
The hotel has just 23 Suites and Deluxe rooms, which are all individually appointed - with no two quite the same. All have unique artwork by various local artists. It also has the lovely policy of serving breakfast at any time from 6am to 10pm, so it is perfect for those who want to relax into the holiday vibe. The gym, spa and 30-metre saltwater pool make this a wonderfully relaxing riverside option in Saigon.
The resort also has its own restaurant, the Bistro Song Vie, which offers all-day dining with eclectic Western, Asian and Vietnamese dishes, as well as an alfresco riverside bar.
The resort has a Writer's Room, which has a single bed and is ideal for solo travellers and for Villa Rooms which have double beds with garden or pool views. There are six smart double and twin Sanctuary Rooms, which are of a good size with a private balcony or garden terrace, while the Sanctuary River Rooms have river views. The Art Suites boast 4-poster beds and smart art work on the walls as well as a private balcony or lounge. The Imperial Suite is the largest room of all, with a sitting area and unrivalled luxury and space, as well as two balconies - one with a river view and one with a view of the swimming pool.
The elegant rooms are air-conditioned, with unique smart decor and comfortable beddings. The private bathrooms are equipped with a bath or shower and free toiletries. Only the Art Suites and Imperial Suite have Nepresso machine & Apple TV.
The speedboat only takes 10 – 15 minutes to get to the central pier of District One - or if you prefer to go by land, it takes about 20 minutes in a taxi - traffic dependent. There are six speedboats a day, with the last one departing town at 6pm. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is 16 km away.
