"We absolutely loved this place!" - Bettina P, July 2019

It is hard to believe you are so close to the city here. But behind the modest entrance of Pilgrimage Village lie acres upon acres of tropical gardens that feel more akin to a meditation retreat than a central resort.

The villas, bungalows and rooms are nestled among the greenery and shrubbery of the gardens, alongside two beautiful swimming pools and a spa that is definitely worth finding your way to.

The resort has five different types of accommodation on offer; the deluxe rooms, family deluxe rooms, honeymoon bungalow, honeymoon pool hut and traditional Vietnamese pool house. All have a distinctive rustic and barn-like charm about them while kitted out with the latest mod-cons including air conditioning, satellite TV and wifi.

The deluxe rooms have exposed brick walls, are very spacious and have a large king sized bed or twin beds as well as a handsome marble and stone bathroom and a large balcony. The family deluxe rooms are simply two deluxe rooms that are joined by an internal interconnecting door.

The thatched roofed honeymoon bungalows are more spacious and isolated, with a high cathedral ceiling, open marble bathroom and have spacious terraces, while the honeymoon pool huts are even more luxurious with a sunken bath and a private garden and small plunge pool.

The Traditional Vietnamese Pool Houses have a slightly more traditional decor and feel like houses in their own right with a dining room and your very own kitchen area with a hob, as well as a private pool and garden.

The resort has a selection of bars and restaurants in its grounds including Junrei restaurant, which is one of Central Vietnam's largest traditional houses and features authentic imperial columns. It is open all day and serves a menu of Vietnamese fusion cuisine. Meanwhile the open-air Valley restaurant beside the lake is also open for breakfast and there are two bars on site; the Candle Bar and Peanut Bar as well as the Slope Lounge.

Pilgrimage Village is located in a quiet countryside setting but is just 4km from central Hue, which takes about 15 minutes by car. It runs a complimentary bus service into town throughout the day.

It is also conveniently located for the historic sights of ancient Hue including the ancient Imperial Palace and the many impressive Royal tombs and impressive Pagodas that are scattered around the surrounding countryside here.
