"Lovely swimming pool, charming staff, all very comfortable!" - Allison B, Jan 2020

"We were upgraded to a suite at The Indochine Palace which was extremely comfortable. Thank you!" - Juliet R, April 2018

The Indochine Palace might just have some of the most nicely decorated rooms in Hue. We adore the soft floral patterns and classic white wooden shutters against the open plan contemporary bathrooms.

The hotel, which is in the Best Western group, is on the larger side with 222 rooms - but it has the finishing touches of a smaller boutique hotel (we especially love the turquoise ceramic accessories in the bathrooms). Some may be put off by the large, imposing exterior that sits somewhat incongruously in the street but once you are inside and past the vast, marble lobby, you will find this is an extremely charming hotel.

The bar, which is lit up by bulbs suspended in bird cages, is wonderfully atmospheric and the perfect place to head after a hard day of sightseeing. Meanwhile the huge outdoor pool, gorgeous spa and well equipped gym also make this an attractive option for the city.

The hotel has six different types of rooms, starting with the Deluxe which comes with a twin or King-sized bed, while the studios are more spacious with an armchair and the Palace Suite King rooms have a living area that is separated from the main bedroom by a huge wooden divider.

Meanwhile the one and two-bed Indochine Club Studios are effectively a-hotel-within-a-hotel, with their own check-in and luxury Lounge that includes a library, and comfy lounge chairs. The Indochine Grand Suite takes up half of an entire floor and features a kitchen, three bedrooms and its own private butler team.

The hotel has a selection of bars and restaurants to choose from.

La Brasserie, a fine dining option offers stylish decor and a selection of creative dishes while Le Petit Cafe is a causal dining option that evokes the glamour and romance of Vietnam's colonial past, with mosaic hand tiled floors.

The hotel also has the Au Rendezvous and Le Bar as well as a wine bar for evening drinks, and a poolside bar that serves drinks and snacks.

The Indochine Palace is well located on the edge of town, and a short 20-minute drive from the Phu Bai International Airport. The property is located close to all amenities such as supermarkets, shops, banks, markets, public parks.
