Set on Mui Ne's pristinely sweeping beach, Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa is an oasis of elegance and comfort offering a unique and unforgettable way to experience the southern coast of Vietnam.

What would your day look like here? You could spend your mornings by the sea, the afternoon hiking through nearby sand dunes and start your evening with a soothing spa treatment before starlit evening drinks on the beach.

It has one of the nicest, widest stretches of beach in Mui Ne - an area that traditionally suffers from high tides and loss of sand on its coast. Anantara also has a lovely restaurant and pool bar area around the pool that looks out to the ocean.

The resort has a selection of Deluxe, Suite and Villas on offer. All have private balconies or terraces and the latest mod cons including air conditioning, wi-fi and spacious en-suites. The deluxe rooms are in the main building and despite being the cheapest rooms at the resort are still some of the nicest rooms in Mui Ne, while the Deluxe Ocean Rooms offer wonderful views over Phan Thiet Bay. Awake to sunrises over the lagoon, pool and tropical gardens.

The Ocean Suite, nestled away on the upper levels of the main building, is a beautiful, large room with sweeping views of the ocean, lagoon and beach. The resort also has a number of one and two-bed villas that all have private plunge pools and are scattered amidst the grounds at Anantara. These are beautifully designed and very spacious, offering more privacy during your stay. There is one two-bed villa available without a private pool.

The Flow poolside bar offers a great range of snacks and drinks throughout the day while l'Anmien offers all-day dining and Thung restaurant has some fantastic seafood on the menu.

There is a gorgeous swimming pool at the resort as well as a fitness centre - and other activities like cookery classes can easily be arranged. Guests can take day trips to the nearby awe-inspiring sand dunes or enjoy delicious seafood luncheons in nearby Phan Thiet.

The resort is about a four hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City and its main attraction is that it is less developed than other beaches in the country, with fewer hawkers and a much quieter backpacker scene.
