If you're seeking the picture-perfect white sandy coast that Bounty adverts are made of then look no further. In a country where the sand is normally yellow, Amiana have imported this impeccable fine white sand and dumped tonnes of it all along the coast. Complemented by the beautiful rooms and arguably the best swimming pools of Nha Trang, we are sure this new resort which opened in 2013, will become a big hit.

Amiana's swanky accommodation is stretched across 400 metres of coast. The sandy cove lies at one end but the accommodation sits behind a garden with a stretch of sand and a sea wall with a drop into the sea beyond.

There are four different types of accommodation on offer, starting with the Deluxe Rooms, which are actually among our favourite in the resort. The rooms are wonderfully open plan - when the wide sliding bathroom doors are open at the back it is a delightfully designed space. The deluxe have twin or King sized beds - and these rooms interconnect, ideal for families. All rooms have a balcony and bath tub and those on the ground floor have an outdoor showers and baths with lush gardens.

The Ocean Front Villas are in the prime-ocean facing spot at the front of the resort. These are slightly larger and detached so offer more privacy, and the rooms are split on two levels. They boast outdoor gardens with huge carved stone bath tubs and rain showers. The Amiana Apartments have two bedrooms so are ideal for families, while the Ocean Front Pool Villas are even bigger with three bedrooms and a private pool.

The swimming pools here are fabulous. One salt water infinity pool almost seems to blend into the sea and in all of our time inspecting hotels, it is one of the biggest we?ve ever seen. The resort also has a very lovely second fresh water pool. The resort also has a wonderful spa, completing the holiday rejuvenation package.

Amiana has a lovely open plan restaurant that looks out over the ocean and sells a fantastic combination of Asian and international dishes.It also has LB's bar, a wonderful terrace for sunset drinks overlooking the ocean.

The resort is a few minutes north of the busy beachside town of Nha Trang by taxi so if you want to sample a more vibrant side of beach life it is easily accessible. It is about 35km from the international airport of Cam Ranh.
