Named for the Sanskrit-derived word for 'peace' and noi meaning 'place', Amanoi is a tranquil retreat situated on a beautiful white-sand beach overlooking spectacular Vinh Hy Bay. Perched on the side of Nui Chua National Park, it is one of the few places in Vietnam that offers stunning beaches with a undeveloped, striking backdrop.

Introduced by the exclusive Aman resort group, Amanoi has 31 guest pavilions - a number with private swimming pools, and five Aman Villas, all positioned on the hillside with impressive views. The design of the Pavilions and Aman Villas fuses contemporary elegance with traditional Vietnamese architectural styles. Views are either of Nui Chua National Park, the lake on the property, or Vinh Hy Bay and the East Sea.

Amanoi provides five accommodation categories: Pavilions offer picturesque views of the surrounding mountains or the lake. Pool Pavilions feature a private swimming pool with panoramic views. Ocean Pavilions offer expansive views of Vinh Hy Bay and the East Sea, while Ocean Pool Pavilions offer similar views alongside private swimming pools. All are identical in layout and design, and each offers a combined living and sleeping area, as well as a timber sundeck with sun loungers. Features include a king-size bed, sofa, writing desk, LCD TV with international channels, sound docking system, wireless Internet, mini-bar and espresso machine.

Meanwhile, each Aman Villa consists of four or five free-standing bedroom pavilions, as well as living and dining pavilions and a large private swimming pool. A live-in housekeeper and cook meet all guests' needs, including the preparation of Vietnamese or Western cuisine in the villa's private kitchen.

The hotel includes a cliff side Central Pavilion which houses a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and terrace with great views of the surrounding countryside. At sea level down below, the Beach Club offers lounging and dining areas, a cooling rim-flow pool and the kit to go snorkelling or kayaking.

Elsewhere, set beside a lotus-filled lake, Amanoi's spa has five double treatment rooms with double bathtubs, two hydrotherapy suites, a number of relaxation lounges with tranquil views, and a wide range of treatments using Aman's chemical-free products. Nearby is a lakeside yoga pavilion, two outdoor tennis courts, plus a number of walking, running and trekking routes around the property.
