Each is privately entered by crossing a stream via the grounds and through a private garden terrace - feeling more like a one bedroom apartment than a hotel room. The Garden Residences open out onto a garden fringed terrace and a shaded Thai garden sala pavilion, while the Spa Suites have an air conditioned lounge area as well as sunny garden terraces with a private two metre relaxation pool. The Pool Residences, tucked into a garden setting, have a Thai lounge sala and private 3.5 metre by 5.5 metre pool. The resort has one pair of connecting Pool and Garden Residences which are ideal for families.

The Facilities
Guests can enjoy gourmet dining at a number of picturesque locations around the resort. The Ficus restaurant is nestled under the hanging roots of the ancient Ficus tree, beside a lotus pond, offering indoor and outdoor dining with traditional and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. The Cellar, an open air bar and cellar, is also tucked away under the ancient tree with an impressive selection of wine and beverages. Meanwhile The Edge restaurant on the beach offers a variety of Thai and seafood delicacies. Private dining can also be enjoyed - whether it's a romantic candlelit dinner next to a jungle waterfall or on a private sand isle, a gourmet picnic breakfast on the beach, or a private dinner in a pool island pavilion or in your own sala; it can all be arranged.

The Sarojin has its own team of personal guides and a concierge service that will happily create personalised tailor-made adventures - anything from a private charter on the luxury boat Lady Sarojin to a jungle adventure or Thai cooking classes followed by lunch at a waterfall can be arranged.

The Pathways spa offers ancient therapies and massage with two double and two single treatment pavilions, an outdoor tree showers and secluded couples' baths set among natural surroundings. It also has a facial treatment room, a post treatment relaxation lounging area and a stilted Yoga and Tai Chi deck shaded by palms and mangrove canopy. For those seeking something a little bit more active, sightseeing tours, trekking, rafting, cycling, rock climbing and scuba diving can all be arranged.

Guests can enjoy cruises to Phang Nga Bay, just 40 minutes away, and renowned for its dramatic limestone islands jutting vertically out of the emerald green water. It boasts hidden lagoons and a sea gypsy village built over water on stilts and with a giant rock monolith guarding its rear. Khao Lak and Khao Sok National Parks are also only 40 minutes drive away, containing some of the world's oldest primary forest, limestone mountains, breathtaking lakes, caves and wild animals.
